About Us

Atlantic Colleges Atlantique (ACA) is the association of seven public Atlantic Canada colleges delivering high-quality education and workforce training. With 60,000 students each year at 40 campuses, ACA member colleges contribute $6.2 billion annually to the region’s economy.

Beyond this economic impact, ACA member institutions are deeply connected with local employers, industry and trade groups, immigrant organizations, educators, and governments, building strong community partnerships.

Our Initiatives

Authentic Competency Evaluation

ACE validates the skills people already have gained through work, training, or lived experience. Instead of repeating training, individuals can demonstrate their competencies and receive recognition that leads to jobs, further education, or new opportunities.
